We'll
pass through charming villages learning about the local people and
vegetation. At the river stop, the horses take offand you hop on a
big tube for a river trip floating downstream in the refreshing clear

all this fun, you'll welcome a late morning drive up the Silver
Coast, along the edge of the Cordillera Septrional mountain range
to Playa Grande and Playa Caleton.
The turquoise-green Caribbean waters are paradise and the sand, white crystal. There's not a soul around on the 2 km beach. Just up the road at Playa Caleton, you can try the best piña colada with fresh coconut milk stirred into a just cut open pineapple. Me gusta mucho! Spend the day soaking up the Caribbean sun. Then we make our way to Cabarete in the van with the view overlooking the mountains and ocean far below, a well-deserved treat after a long ride. You'll be back in time to kite or windsurf! Wakeboarding
Golf Option  If golf is your game, this sport is available upon request (not included in trip price). We take you to one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world – set high on the water's edge overlooking Playa Grande. Definitely an experience you won't regret. NOTE: Due to the high quality of the course, an additional amount is required to cover transportation and green fees. Massage After all this adventure, you may want a massage to rejuvenate for the night. We have an excellent massage therapist available on the beach who will get the kinks out. young local guides would love to show you El Choco park, their unspoiled
jungle backyard. You can take a tour to the Tiano cave paintings
or explore on your own. Just watch out for the mud!

Children are more than welcome to join us! After a fun-filled day with Amber Coast Adventures, your kids will love you and you'll love us for making sure they fall asleep early and happy. For
all levels and tastes, we offer 3 of the best horseback trips on the
North Coast. Ride on the beach, from mountains to valleys, or through
villages to the national park. All are excellent and require no experience.From
a little town near Cabarete, we head straight up into the untamed
mountains, past brightly colored Caribbean farm homes with friendly
children running out to greet you along the way. They'll
saddle up the horses for you and once the ranch-hand is sure you're
comfortable and ready, we're off into the wild mountains to explore
more of the Dominican countryside. Riding along mountain-top ridges
down canyon trails into a valley.
Sosúa
is another perfect beach town with white sandy shores and coconut
trees. We'll go to Sosúa for a half day of snorkeling or
scuba diving in the clear turquoise-blue waters along coral reefs.The
friendly couple that owns thePADI certified, 5-star dive center
will take you on a very unique tour of the DR – under water.
They run a very professional operation with excellent guides since
customer service and safety are their number one concern.
Average
water temp.in Sosua Bay is between 25-29°C/
76-82°F: average visibility is 15-30 m
(50-100 ft.) You'll visit three giant coral reef rocks that span
45 m (150 ft.), hosting an incredible mix of tropical fish and plant
life – amongst them the grouper and porcupine fish, as well
as the magnificent and brightly-colored fan coral. of tropical fish
and plant life. You
can also dive to a sunken shipwreck and an excellent point with
four fallen boulders that have created a variety of caves and swim-throughs.
You may spot barracuda, spotted eagle ray and incredible, huge Jewfish!
We
offer customized dive packages with 1-day open water dives to different
areas plus, scuba certification -- available
in 1 or 3 days. Trips vary and some include lunch plus transportation
to and from your hotel. 
We
work with a wonderful local bike company who has the most knowledgeable
Dominican guides and great mountain bikes. If you'd like to see
the backroads of the DR, far from the beach, join us for a half
day mountain biking adventure. Iguana Mama will set us up with full-suspension
bikes, helmets and water bottles and then we're off.Max,
Adolfo or Emilio, all professional Dominican riders, have been making
trails around the northern coast their whole lives. They'll lead
you through the lush Cibao valley. After
breakfast at the summit of the Cordillera Septrional mountain range,
we head down winding mountain roads through Dominican villages.
Iguana Mama offers full support including snacks, agua and exotic
fruits at each break area. 
We
had to add wakeboardingtorrp because it's so much fun and our guides
are great!You'll
spend a couple of hours cruising up and down the Yasica River lined
with bamboo, palm trees and some local fishermen. Fun fun fun!
